Irish Crochet Lace is characterized by making separated crocheted motifs and joining them together with a loose temporary stitch onto a cloth forming the pattern. It is usually done with a very thin crochet hook and cotton thread, but in this case it is sized up to make this rich pullover using flower and leaf motifs. A ribbed hem and a wide cowl collar gives it a very nice finish.
The colorways used are #56 Olive and #156 Mariposa. Depending on the size you’re making you’ll need from 4 to 6 skeins of Olive and 3 to 5 skeins of Mariposa.
