Introducing Malabrigo Quickies! Waiting for Spring by Amy Machael

We are super pleased to present very the first project in our new designer collaboration series!

We’re calling it “Malabrigo Quickies”! Quickies are small, fast projects which require only one or two skeins of yarn. Approximately every two weeks we’ll be teaming up with a talented independent designer to present an exciting new accessory (or other “small object”) pattern, showcasing one of our many yarns and colorways.

And our premier pattern is deeelish indeed, if I do say so:

Introducing Waiting for Spring by Amy Machael!

These adorable little mitts use just one skein of our limited-run, super-soft Finito (in one of my absolute favorite colorways!) As Amy says:

These mitts are perfect for easing into spring as the winter season begins to wane. And as winter knitting comes to an end, they can easily be worked up using a leftover skein of sock yarn…but your hands will thank you for using Finito.

I love the detail on the thumb gussets! You can get the Waiting for Spring pattern on Ravelry here.

And be sure to check back soon- we’ll have a new Quickies pattern for you every couple of weeks! You’ll also be able to browse all the Quickies patterns in one place on our Ravelry page.
