Today we’ve got a snazzy lil short-row scarf, rife with texture and lace! Introducing Hafren by Barbara Lösche:
Hafren is a celtic name. It is said Hafren is the celtic version of “Sabrina”. Other sources state the nymph of the English river Severn is called Hafren. I am sure the nymph of the Severn would be happy to wear Hafren. The scarf combines her home. The blue lace pattern represents the river with its lighter and darker colour like the white crest of the waves. The violet structure pattern shows the shore coloured by the evening sun.
What are Malabrigo Quickies?
Quickies are small, fast projects which require only one or two skeins of yarn. Approximately every two weeks we’re teaming up with a talented independent designer to present an exciting new accessory (or other “small object”) pattern, showcasing one of our many yarns and colorways.
