Leah says:

This collection is inspired by the sea, and those who seek the horizon. Good layering pieces for fickle beach weather in a variety of colors, textures and fabric types. From the diaphanous and floaty Octo Shawl in Malabrigo Lace (inspired by the translucent mantle of a vampire squid) to the bold and chunky openwork Tidal Cowl in Gruesa, it was truly fun creating these 5 patterns. This includes my first sweater and pillowcover patterns along with a few accessories, and will be the final release before my husband and I move away from Los Angeles (and my watery muse) to Chicago. This collection feels like a fitting end to 6 ocean-adjacent years!

What on earth is “MFPP”?

MFPP stands for Malabrigo Freelance Pattern Project. Every month, we collaborate with an independent designer (or two) to bring you delightfully themed pattern collections! You can see past MFPP collections here or at the Ravelry link above!
