Annie says:

Attack from Outer Space! The ebook has all your space necessities: rayguns, rockets, space helmets, and alien robots! This four pattern set is an homage to the sci-fi movies of the 50s and 60s. Drawing from classics spanning from The Day the Earth Stood Still to Barbarella, there’s a little something for every sci-fi fan here.

Rayguns are comfortable three-fingered gloves with the image of the rayguns on both sides. Metal Man Mittens have a unique construction with the gusset and thumb worked last. The Ignition legwarmers are worked bottom up with slight shaping and a generous top cuff. Noble Hero is a snug but comfortable balaclava with a fun cushy collar.

Ignition in Rios, Natural and Paris Night.

MFPP: Malabrigo Halloween by Stacey Trock

My very favorite holiday is nigh- as far as I’m concerned, Halloween starts on October 1st, and what better way to kick off the festivities than this charming collection by Stacey Trock? If you get those hook’s a-flyin’ you’ve still got time to make yourself a costume!

I hope you enjoy this fun collection of Halloweeen-themed patterns in one of the yummiest yarns around… Malabrigo! This book contains a cowl, legwarmers, a shawl and hat: items that, in my opinion, are crucial for a successful autumn. Oh, yeah, and a monster pillow… just because I thought it was fun! I’m pretty sure you’ll love these patterns so much, that you’ll sneak them into your life all year long!
