MFPP: Winter Sonata by Kitman Figueroa

Our last MFPP of the year is a stunning collection of warmy lacy goodies by the ever talented Kitman Figueroa!

Fianna in Arroyo, colorway VAA

Zigg in Silky Merino, Smoke

About the collection, Kitman says:

December is such a festive and happy month for everyone. When I think of December, I think of the cold weather, the nice balsam scented candles and also all the knitted accessories that I love!

The 4 designs in the Winter Sonata collection are ideal quick knitted accessories for December. They can be made for oneself or as gifts for the loved ones. Fianna is a bottom up textured lace shawl which is knitted with beautiful Malabrigo Arroyo in colorway V.A.A and Santi is a top down circular shawl that knitted with same yarn but in Natural colorway. Both shawls can be knitted in fingering weight yarn too. As for Zigg, it is a simple zig zag textured unisex scarf. The last design, Pearlie, is a set of hat and cowl with lace, nupps element in it.

It is a fun collection that I designed for the MFPP December 2012 and I hope other knitters would enjoy making them! 🙂

What on earth is “MFPP”?

MFPP stands for Malabrigo Freelance Pattern Project. Every month, we collaborate with an independent designer (or two) to bring you delightfully themed pattern collections! You can see past MFPP collections here or at the Ravelry link above!
