Malabrigo Quickie: Pendulum by Amy Miller

Our newest Quickie looks like a ton of fun to knit! Swooping short row stripes give this shawl a clever construction and a unique look. Shown in Sock, in Playa and Terracotta.

From the designer:

Pendulum is an easy to knit shawlette to keep you warm on breezy summer nights – the short rows and stripes keep it interesting while the garter stitch keeps it simple and fast.

You can check out Pendulum on Ravelry, or browse all our Quickies patterns at the source page!

What are Malabrigo Quickies?

Quickies are small, fast projects which require only one or two skeins of yarn. Approximately every two weeks we’ll be teaming up with a talented independent designer to present an exciting new accessory (or other “small object”) pattern, showcasing one of our many yarns and colorways.

November MFPP – Come Sail Away

‘Come Sail Away’ is the November installment of the Malabrigo Freelance Pattern Project! Fall in love with classic and beautiful designs by Heidi Kirrmaier. Heidi’s inspiration for the collection was a feeling of escape from the coolness of winter months to a private beach location. With a full colorcard of Malabrigo blues, she has anything but the blues in these gorgeous patterns. The collection is available for purchase on Ravelry. My favorite pattern from the collection has got to be the Windward Wrap, shown in Sock color ‘Playa’ — this wrap is perfect for fall or a chilly ocean breeze!
