Annie says:

Attack from Outer Space! The ebook has all your space necessities: rayguns, rockets, space helmets, and alien robots! This four pattern set is an homage to the sci-fi movies of the 50s and 60s. Drawing from classics spanning from The Day the Earth Stood Still to Barbarella, there’s a little something for every sci-fi fan here.

Rayguns are comfortable three-fingered gloves with the image of the rayguns on both sides. Metal Man Mittens have a unique construction with the gusset and thumb worked last. The Ignition legwarmers are worked bottom up with slight shaping and a generous top cuff. Noble Hero is a snug but comfortable balaclava with a fun cushy collar.

Ignition in Rios, Natural and Paris Night.

MFPP: Sweets for All Seasons by Laura Brown

And now, our third and final MFPP for August, by the talented Laura Brown!

Laura says:

This collection was inspired by the look and feel of ice cream: the girl’s dress and hoodie by the swirling of two colors in a double scoop, the boy’s hoodie and vest by the lattice pattern on the cone. Since I consider ice cream a year-round treat, I wanted there to be a pattern that would work for each of the different seasons.

Double Scoop Hoodie in Sock, in Archangel and Violeta Africana

Waffle Cone Hoodie, in Rios Sunset and Coco.

Double Scoop Dress in Sock, Violeta Africana and Ochre

Sugar Cone Vest in Worsted, in Stone Blue and Coco

For the first month of its release (until September 20th) you can use coupon code “4SWEETS” on Ravelry to receive 10% off! Use the savings to treat yourself to a cone 😉

It’s all so cute! After this month of sugary adorableness, children of knitters everywhere should be set on ice-cream-themed duds well into adulthood, hehe. Click the photos to see the individual patterns on Rav, or you can see the whole collection here. You can also browse all the MFPP patterns on our Ravelry page!
