June Quickies Pattern: Scottish Garden Shawl by Fiona Munro

This shawl is absolutely lovely and looks like it is perfect knitting for this season of life- perfect if you are sitting on your own porch, or hiding inside with the AC!

This modern half-circle shawl has beautiful lace detail and garter stitch inspired by a Scottish garden.

It is knit in Susurro, in the Sunset colorway. Just two skeins of Susurro in your favorite color and you will have a beautiful wrap for yourself.

The Susurro has a beautiful rustic feel and lovely drape that is perfect for this shawl.

The shawl is worked flat with 4mm (6US) needles in garter stitch with increases along the edges to create the half-circular shape. There is also a band of lace flower detail before the moss (seed) stitch border edging. The pattern includes a chart for the lace section of the shawl. The blocked measurements of the shawl are width 61” (155 cm) by length 23” (58.5 cm).
