Our design team has organized an amazing Knit Along set to begin on April 1st, featuring our beautiful Dos Tierras yarn!
If you haven't tried this lovely yarn yet, you can find information here: Dos Tierras

The decision on the pattern we chose to feature Dos Tierras was an easy one; it had to be the Odyssey Shawl by Joji Locatelli!  She is not only a talented designer but also a friend.

You can download a free copy of the pattern here: Odyssey Shawl

As you can see, this design is a beautiful crescent-shaped shawl using three colors, so we found the perfect opportunity to introduce our three new Dos Tierras colorways:

Of course there are many other beautiful color combinations available with the Dos Tierras colorways. Get creative and choose your favorites!

PLEASE NOTE!!!  A few pattern modifications have to be made due to the yardage difference between Dos Tierras and the yarn Joji used in her pattern.

It is very important that you do a gauge swatch before starting this project.  In order to ensure you do not run out of yarn, you need to obtain a gauge of 17-18 stitches over 4 inches before blocking.  Depending on whether you are a loose or tight knitter, the needle size may vary. A size US8 needle might be a good place to start.
You may need to unravel your swatch for your project. We recommend you use the middle color of your shawl for swatching.

The final shawl will be a beautiful piece, somewhat smaller than Joji’s original pattern.

Finished Measurements of the Dos Tierras Shawl:

Approx. 65“ (165 cm) from side to side (Neverland part) and 17,5” (45 cm) from top to bottom at the deepest point (after blocking).
