Please join us for our new Mechita Knit Along.

This edition of the malabrigo KAL features an amazing two-colored shawl designed by Takako Takiguchi.

This beautiful pattern takes 2 Mechita skeins. It has a lovely cable stitchwork and a very particular shape.

To knit this shawl you would need to know how to:

  • Knit

  • Purl

  • Working flat

  • Slip stitches

  • Cable working

  • Increase stitches

  • Decrease stitches

Pattern help

Our team will be answering questions about the pattern and help you work through the tricky parts.

We will have a Ravelry thread, Facebook group and Blog Posts to help you.

Prizes

KAL participants are invited to share their progress and photos on Ravelry, Facebook, and Instagram during March 2023 for the chance to win weekly prizes. Please, use #malabrigokal on all social media channels.

To be eligible for the prizes, projects must be knit using only malabrigo, and at least one Mechita skein.

*Prizes will be selected by Malabrigo Team. Winners will be contacted by email or Instagram messages.
