Malabrigo KAL - October 2022

Please join us for our new Rios Solidos Knit Along.

We will knit the “Seeing Spots Vest”.

It was designed by Afifa Sayeed and selected by the malabrigo team specially for this KAL.

She presented this design for our Open Call for Designers.

KAL starts on October 3rd.

To knit this vest you would need to know how to:

• knit

• purl

• working in the round

• working flat

• increase

• decrease

• separate front and back

• cable cast on

• k2togtbl bind off

• grafting stitches

• slip stitches

• carrying yarn

• picking up stitches

• shorts rows (or wrap and turn)

The Seeing Spots Vest pattern will be available for FREE on Ravelry and our Website.

Pattern help

Our team will be answering questions about the pattern and help you work through the tricky parts.

We will have a Ravelry thread, Facebook group and blog posts to help you.

Prizes

KAL participants are invited to share their progress and photos on Ravelry, Facebook and Instagram during October 2022 for the chance to win weekly prizes. Please, use #malabrigokal in all social media channels. Prizes will be selected by Malabrigo. Winners will be contacted by email or Instagram messages.

To be eligible for the prizes, projects must be knit using at least one malabrigo Rios Solidos color.

Rios Solidos Collection:

#195 Black and #943 White are also considered as Solidos.

Colors shown with an * next to the name are industrially dyed and are part of the Solidos Collection.
