Behind the names: Azul Bolita
If you have seen Azul Bolita in person, you know what I mean when I say it's a truly unique shade of blue. It practically glows! Antonio came up with this blue looking for a new and different blue, but not really knowing what it was he was looking for. It took a lot of experimentation until this blue came to exist. As you may know Azul means blue, and "bolita" is the word we use in Uruguay for a marble (it's "canica" in other countries who have Spanish as their mother language). There used to be glass marbles who had a color similar to this colorway when Antonio was growing up, and that's how it got it's name. It comes in Malabrigo Yarn Merino Worsted and Malabrigo Yarn Chunky.
