Malabrigo Day is Back: October 24, 2026
Last year, we celebrated the very first Malabrigo Day. This year, we’re doing it again.
On Saturday, October 24, knitters and crocheters around the world will come together at participating local yarn shops for a day dedicated to color, creativity, and community.
What started as a new celebration in 2025 is becoming a tradition we can share year after year — and we’re so excited to celebrate Malabrigo Day with you again.
Why Malabrigo Day?
For us, Malabrigo has always been about more than yarn.
It’s about the colors that make you stop and look twice. The project you can’t wait to cast on. The designer whose work inspires your next idea. The local yarn shop where you find your people. And all the makers who turn a skein of yarn into something completely their own.
Malabrigo Day is a chance to bring all of that together.
It’s a celebration of the community that has grown around Malabrigo — our makers, our local yarn shops, our designers, and everyone who finds a little joy in working with color and yarn.
What to expect?
We’re putting together another special Malabrigo Day, with participating local yarn shops around the world getting ready to celebrate with their communities.
There will be special surprises, opportunities to discover and enjoy Malabrigo, and plenty of reasons to spend some time with your local yarn shop and fellow makers.
We’ll be sharing more details in the weeks leading up to October 24, so keep an eye on our social channels and check with your local yarn shop to see what they have planned.
