Thank you all again for knitting along with us

KAL

Thank you to everyone who joined in our second annual KAL! We tried something a little different this year and designed a pattern of our very own for this year’s KAL and it was quite the adventure.

It has been lovely to see all of the completed Temperance shawls and all of the excitement to knit with Mechita or Sock. What better way to introduce new colors of Sock than with a new pattern, a fun KAL and lots of our friends knitting along with us? From the yarn shops, to the Zoom sessions, to the Facebook Groups and even our very own Ravelry group, it has been an absolute delight getting to know you all better and such a joy to knit along with each and every single one of you.

We truly hope that you all had as much fun knitting along with us as we have had knitting along with you. The Temperance Shawl KAL provided a time to really let your personalities shine through your color selections and it tested our determination to knit up to the very end, even during some rather tedious pattern sections. Your tenacity and dedication paid off and hopefully everyone is enjoying their finished (or nearly finished!) shawls.

Thank you all again for knitting along with us! Congratulations to all of the prize winners but truly, congratulations to each and every single knitter who joined this journey in some form-whether to cheer on another knitter, to provide insight about a color choice, or to simply help out another knitter who was stuck, you all should be so proud of yourselves and what you accomplished in just a month.

While this is good-bye to the Temperance KAL, hopefully this is Hello to a beautiful new friendship and we cannot wait to knit with you again soon.
